Sunderland, U.K. native D L Burdon is thrilled to announce his new project D L Burdon & His Questionable Intentions and release their debut single "Thank You And Good Night."

Working with producer Omar Zehery at Legacy Sounds Studio in Lima, Ohio, D L Burdon & His Questionable Intentions combine elements of punk, pop and Americana with catchy melodies, massive guitar hooks and clean production. D L Burdon weaves in multiple layers of energy, aggression and frustration that highlight the Englishman's observations of everyday life in today's America.

Today D L Burdon & His Questionable Intentions release their new single - "Thank You And Good Night" - an upbeat power pop song inspired by observations of the way in which American major news outlets sensationalize and manipulate the narrative of their content to sway public opinion.

D L Burdon & His Questionable Intentions was formed in 2020 at the height of the global pandemic and is comprised of veterans of the U.K. and U.S. punk and indie scenes (D L Burdon of Former Cell Mates and Leatherface, Craig Dickman of Shitty Neighbors, and Omar Zehery of Hit The Lights and Trophy Girls). The trio's music resonates with fans of Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, Lucero and Centro-matic.
