Altenative indie-punk outfit Trophy Girls is a solo project of producer, songwriter and Ohio native, Omar Zehery. While playing guitar for Hit The Lights, a band which Zehery founded in 2003, he started assembling the songs which would become Trophy Girls in his parent’s basement in Lima, Ohio between the band’s hectic tour schedule. Combining his love for 80's hardcore, 90's hip-hop and early 2000's pop punk, Zehery had originally intended the music to be written for Hit The Lights but quickly realized the songs had taken a life of their own.
